you know i forecast the weather? itís an easy job, punctuated by moments of difficulty due to overload of tasks. most of the time, i put my feet up on the table, watch television, field oddball calls from people who donít need the information theyíre requesting from me. i usually lie to people, or rely on bad data or questionable mathematical models to tell people where the clouds or precipitation will be. they ask me about the future, and i give them what amounts to a wild guess. iím almost never right, but i get to keep my job anyway.
