The shadow cast by his loss was inevitable. He was a leader in the firm, after all. Yet, Jenny still wondered why she missed him as much as she did.

His death incurred at a missed stoplight, his last moments accompanied by the squealing of brakes had taken everyone by surprise. But especially Jenny.
