Stores full of new books are wonderful places, but prowling through stacks of secondhand books at a thrift store or yard sale satisfies the soul on a whole different level. Itís the thrill of the hunt - knowing that even though they may be loosely organized into broad categories, thereís no formula or marketing plan dictating what you will find. Itís the luck of the draw - which particular house move or spring cleaning shifted those particular volumes to that particular location. Itís the risk - knowing that you could come away empty handed, disappointed... but you might find a treasure!
