The last box has been carried to the waiting truck, the last chair. He walks slowly through the sunny rooms of the apartment they shared together for more than a decade, the home they bought together in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. His footsteps echo on the century-old wood floors; his thoughts are not in the place he is in now, but in the past, when everything seemed possible except this. He finally shuts the door behind him for the last time, the way she did. He didnít know it was the last time. Yet.
