"Let me get this straight," replied an astounded Manfred. "Some old witch approaches you in the forest and asks you if you'd like to be a stork, and you say yes, just like that." Marsha frowned slightly. "It seemed like a good idea at the time," she said. "Did you get anything out of it?" he pressed. "Immortality? A horse? Some ferns?" "No, nothing at all," she answered.
