I had never heard of Brooklynís Boheme located in Fort Greene nor did they ever tell me about it when I was in school.

One thing that perplexes me is why is it that every time Black people start to unite and do something for themselves thereís always some outside element that tries to destroy their creativity and positiveness?

In the 60ís there was the Civil Rights movement, then came Feminism.

There was also the Black struggle movements like the Black Panthers and then came COINTELPRO and heroin.

In the 80ís there was love and conscious rap then came crack.
