I fear exploratory surgery. After four, maybe five rounds of antibiotics, more if you count ones I took for sinus infections in the meantime, nothing helps. Iím tired of doctorís appointments. Iím disappointed in my shrinking insurance coverage. Iím tired of doctors knowing nothing despite excruciating amounts of time and money spent in medical school. Iím tired of throwing antibiotics at a mysterious problem. Then I think of people with diagnosed diseases and how much worse off they are. At least they have a name for their troubles. I have several names, few Iíd use in front of my mother.
